More Coveting, or Why am I Such a Nerd..?

I hate winter. I hate fall. I mostly hate spring. Basically I would be happiest if it was summer all year long. Hot, nasty, sweaty summer. To me, the year isn't 4 seasons long. It's summer, and winter. Anything with cold, rain and wind is winter and there for not a happy time for me.
Also, I believe that you voluntarily get into the pool/shower. Rain is water and wetness forced upon you. So rain, is water rape in my mind. Terrible, fear inducing, frizzy brown girl hair causing, drenched and have to sit at work in your clothes... water rape.
I bought rain boots on Sat. I've been trying for years to find them in my size that aren't boring or purple or some other disgusting style.. Next: Get a rain slicker. Next Next: I want one of those see through plastic umbrellas that look sorta like a pod.. Ya know the kind those Japanese kids have. That go all around your head.

This will be my winter of not getting water raped, and staying warm. So say we all. :)

My Summer Style..

I'm absolutely in love with these. Yes I ordered them (I'm a girl.. can you blame me for wanting to get something new to wear once in a while?) And I can just feel myself in them already. I know I will be running around this summer in that dress and some ethnic jewelry.. feeling beautiful and hip. They arrive tomorrow and I can't wait. I want them now so I can wear them to the Rats in the Alley Improv show.. but alas. I must wait.

My style? Yeah I dunno what my style *is* but it's so very me.

Purchased from Forever21 online.

That Perfect Dress..

my cousin Ricky was not fond of me always trying to take pictures with him. lol

Is it just me, or does everyone love that certain article in their closet that fits them.. just right.. that when you put it on, you feel like it was made for you, and you alone... I found this dress in the Long Beach Mall at this odd store Up Against The Wall. I wore it to the rehearsal dinner, and then out drinking and singing with cousins, while out in Long Beach...

The shoes were totally uncomfortable, but really cute... But this post is all about the dress....

I'd SO Wear That!

Pac Man and Ghost rings... found here . Of course ya should know by now that I'm a huge nerd, and an even bigger Pac Man fan (I have him and the ghosts tattooed on my arm!) These are just too cool!

Felt Bow Tie Necklace. Found here at Etsy. I love delicate little accents to a simple outfit.

Spats! I've wanted a pair forever now.. these are too gorgeous! Here, also on Etsy.

And of course if anyone wants to buy these for me, they totally can! :) I kid, I kid!

Sometimes, I Really am a Girl..

Sometimes all I really want is something new to wear, and since I'll be going to Long Beach for my cousin's wedding for a week at the end of the month, I really wanted some new things. These are a few pieces I got that I'm absolutely in love with. The boots have been on my feet everyday since I got them, and the long black shirt.. Ugh, perfection, I feel absolutely amazing it it.. I think I'll wear the other shirt to the Rats show tonight.

I can't help it, there is something really nice about putting on something new that makes you feel fabulous, inside and out!

Spot Light: Etsy.com

I love shopping online. Who doesn't now a days? Etsy is a wonderful online shop where you can buy vintage and home made things, of all sorts. Above is a purse I bought and am in love with from IfLooksCouldKill's shop. I've also bought stickers, buttons and pouches, as well as drooled over art, clothing and other such knickknacks. I really wanna open up my own shop as well.. if only I had the time! Check out the site, were you can buy & sell all thing hand made.

Threadless

I didn't know Threadless T's sold prints now! How awesome! I've been a fan of this site for a while now, and have plenty of shirts from there (Originally I loved the site cuz there are no tags in the back of the shirts, the size and names are just printed inside.. tags make me itch!) The site features wonderful artwork printed onto comfy t's and hoodies and such.

I have a friend Rob, who is amazingly talented, that submitted his own work to the site to try and gather votes to get it put onto the site. Sadly he did not win, but I would of bought his shirt! :)

But now I see you can also buy prints! Once I get money I shall fill my home with more art.
