this is cute. I love miniture things, I love fake food... It's just so adorable.

Source: I saw this in one of my Juxtapoz magazines. I cut it out and put it on my wall. It's got some very interesting colors and textures to it.

Wed Round Up...

Lithium Picnic has been one of my favorite photographers since I was about 16 years old. You may of seen his many photographs of Apnea and other (ex mostly) Suicide Girls. Or know about the crazy legal battle that went on between the two of them and SG.

I think I mostly like this image because it's so empowering to women. I imagine it's a crazy sexy hot Fight Club for girls... with kick ass shoes! :)

"By Any Means Available (After Charlotte Perriand)" 2005
cardboard, paper, plastic, magazine clippings, mixed media -Stephanie Syjunco

made a while ago but only now just photographed for better documentation. to be included in the show "This End Up" at the San Jose Museum of Art, opening in November.

I find this piece to be extremely beautiful. Now of course, some of you may be saying.. "That's a bunch of boxes.. and colors, that's nothing.. I can do that!" And yeah that may be true, but it really gets me inside. Really. It conveys my emotions, makes me think. And that's what I really look for in art.

I was home sick from work yesterday, so sorry for the lack of a post. Today I am back in action again though! Here is a round up of a few interesting and intriguing work I've stumbled upon. Enjoy.

So I moved.

I'm now a resident of Fairfield, CA again. The town I grew up in, lived most of my life, and tried to escape for years. But ya know what... I'm okay with being back. I'm an adult now, a real one, not a newly-adult adult... not knowing how to be an adult. I'm glad with my decision... First post of the day... Of the week... Of my new residency... Of my new chapter... More images that reflect my feelings as of right now. Enjoy kids. :)

We're making a bunch, but I will be the narrator for them all. Crazy huh'? Enjoy these pretty arts, my pretties!

Hope I Can Believe In.

Look ya'll, finally a real post from me! A bit of back story, I'm moving home. To Fairfield, into the house I grew up in, where my family is. This is not the normal 'I'm broke I need to move home wah wah wah.' type of move, but something that will help me in the long run. So yay! Last night I was out there visiting, and taking some of my family (and adopted family) to the Rats in the Alley improv show (I'll post about them sometime too, don't worry) and we had a great time. Drinking beer, laughing hard at the show, singing karaoke, and dancing. Once we got back to my moms we had a few more drinks and I had to get ready for bed. Driving to work from there takes almost an hour with OUT traffic, so I gotta get up early. Anyway, my mom and cousin and brother and his friends were talking election stuff (some didn't vote, some did, my mom voted and loves her McCain, which is fine by me) My sleepy self yells from the couch "I love my Obama!" and raise my fist into the air. The responce I got? My mother saying "I love that Jacqueline loves her Obama!" It's good to be passionate about something, and I really am inspired and passionate about him.

So I bring you today's post. (I know I know, shut up Jack and get to the art!) Todays post is inspired by he that inspires many.

Got a case of those good morning blues.

I'm terribly tired today. Last night was wonderful, for many reasons and a new episode of Gossip Girl didn't hurt either. ;) I'm such a sucker for that show. But now I sit freezing at my work... unable to really move more then to type and click the mouse. There must be a way to get more restful sleep.

So for now I present you with... Images of how I feel. Enjoy.

Back at work... Back to work.

Source

Back to work today. After 2 weeks of off time, and I don't even know where to start or what to do. I'm broke, I'm sad.. I need to move home by the 15th. Commuting to work every morning.. Ugh. I'm running on empty today. Ever so tired and ever so blah. Blah Blah Blah.

Your sex is on fire.

I've had a rough couple of weeks. Lack of work, stress, the holidays and some big decisions weighing on me pretty hard. I promise the updates are coming. Right now all I want is a beer and a cigarette. To those of you that do read this, I miss you. And I will be back soon.

Making Christmas, Making Christmas...

Sorry for the lack of posts today. Some of you may know, but I am off of work for the next 2 weeks (Lame, so lame) but am still a busy bee! I'm making gifts this year for most people, and they are all turning out so cute! I slept in today, finished the last of my shopping and am working on finishing up these gifts in time for Wed.

Don't worry, I'll try to post something tomorrow, and after these gifts are given out, I'll be sure to post all the picture I've taken of the things I've made. I just have to share my creative goodies! :)

So, I hope you are all staying warm out there! Today wasn't that bad, but I did rock a shawl over my thermal when going to the store. My house is freezing, but I plan to take a long warm shower a little later tonight before crawling into bed with a good book and relaxing.

Hope you all have a great holiday season. Better posts soon!
